The Town Council is seeking nominations for the 2025 Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year. If you know of a Billericay resident, young or old, who goes out of their way to help others, contributes to a community group or organisation, gives up their free time to fundraise for charity, or makes a significant contribution to Billericay life, please contact the Town Clerk for a nomination form. Nomination forms will also be available on the Council’s website. The winners will be VIP guests at the VE-Day 80 event on 8th May and be given the honour of lighting the beacon. Closing date is 4th April 2025 so don’t delay – get your nominations in today!
