Full Council meets approximately every six weeks in the Council Chamber at the Chantry Centre. The Council oversees the work of all the Committees and formally approves any decisions that are made at committee meetings. A Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Council are appointed every year at the Annual Town Council meeting. The current Chairman of the Council is Councillor Mark Thomas and the current Vice Chairman is Councillor Jim Devlin. You are welcome to attend and if you would like to speak about any item on the agenda then please contact the Council office.
