Both the World War I and World War II memorials were steam cleaned in August, which revealed significant damage to the coping stones on the WWII memorial. As a listed monument, the repair work required the expertise of a specialist contractor. We are delighted with the results and are sure you will agree that both memorials are now looking their best in preparation for Remembrance Sunday on 9th November.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team from Bakers of Danbury for their skilled work and dedication throughout this important restoration project
