From January 2026, The Town Council will be taking over the running of the much-loved “Good Companions Club”.
Since 1992, Ken & Eleanor Tout have dedicated themselves to running this community club, which provides a much-needed social gathering for senior citizens twice a month. After many years of commitment and service, they have made the difficult decision to step down.
The Town Council feels strongly that this club is an essential service for the elderly residents who attend, and we are delighted to take the reins and continue the wonderful club that Ken and Eleanor have established .
